Murdoch University is introducing a Year 12 Uni Entry Safety Net for current Year 12 Students who have been impacted by COVID-19 and are applying to study in 2021.
At Murdoch we recognise that Year 12 students are doing their best to study during this years trying circumstances, but that if they have missed a few weeks of study, they may not achieve the Year 12 scores they were expecting.
Our aim is to be as flexible as possible, therefore a range of pathways for both ATAR and non-ATAR students who might miss their required entry score due to the COVID-19 disruption, will be available under the new Year 12 Uni Entry Safety Net.
This years Year 12 ATAR students will be able to apply using their Year 11 ATAR subject results and those that meet the course entry requirements will be granted early and unconditional offers by the University on a rolling basis from the date of application.
Murdoch remains supportive of the standard ATAR admission pathway, and we strongly encourage students to try their best in the Year 12 ATAR exams, as this will be important preparation for University study. Students will still have equal opportunity to apply for their course using their Year 12 ATAR results.
Students on other recognised university pathways can demonstrate their university readiness and apply through pathways such as Certificate IV, FlexiTrack High, TLC110, and Portfolio Entry, and be offered conditional rolling offers.
To receive the latest updates, interested students should register their interest about this pathway here:
Please note, the Year12 Entry Safety Net applies to all undergraduate courses except Veterinary Science.
