• The solar car.
One of the projects for students in Year 11 Integrated Science was to design and build a solar car.
Shamsia and Waheda began with the parts: wheels, gears, motors, solar panels and carefully produced a solar car. They then asked Craig for miniature electronic switches and installed two switches on their car.
The careful planning and perseverance paid off. Shamsia and Waheda succeeded in making a solar car that actually moved.
