The IEC experience is over for a group of students who have now moved into Year 11 or the workforce. The students were congratulated at the IEC Achievement Ceremony that brought semester one to a conclusion.
MCs Shukura and Elaine kept the event moving along. Highlights included addresses by North Lake principal Mary Margetts, guest speaker Golda Signal, a youth mentor who came to Australia as a refugee, while a film by Farbod Zare revealed some very slick moves. The ceremony ended with a rowdy slideshow and a tasty afternoon tea provided by our brilliant Hospitality students.
The previous day at the assembly a large group of students received 100% attendance awards and Liam from the WAFC was presented with a poster made by the footy students.
