Talking about youth health

Are you a young person aged 15 to 24? Have you ever accessed WA’s Child and Adolescent Health Services (CAHS)? This could be the Perth Childrens Hospital (formerly PMH), the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) or a community health service. If so, we want to hear from you! YACWA is hosting workshop with young people to co-design CAHS Consumer Representatives and Recruitment Management Policy.

We want your feedback on better ways to engage, involve and retain young people as consumer representatives (those who have accessed CAHS). We especially want to hear from young people from diverse backgrounds, such as refugee and migrant young people. We want to explore how recruitment can be made more accessible, inclusive and culturally appropriate.

To thank you for your participation, you will receive a $50 Coles/Myer gift card. Snacks and drinks will be provided (and dietary requirements catered for).

When: Thursday 12 September, 4.30pm to 6.30pm (two hours)

Where: Foyer Oxford, 196 Oxford Street, Leederville (in the Spark/Kindle room)
