The Red Line Cafe was a popular addition to Thursdays in term one and will continue on the first week of term two.
Red Line is slightly different to the popular North Lake Cafe in that the Hospitality students are working on their Prepare & Serve Non-alcoholic Beverages competency. So plunger coffee was serves along with pots of tea and iced drink options like smoothies, frappe and mocktails.
Dine-in and take away customers – students, staff and visitors – could also purchase tasty treats.
As one happy customer put it: “This was a lovely morning tea. Well done everyone for an epic effort. Thanks for the wonderful service.”
Espresso lovers will be pleased to hear the North Cafe will be up and running later in term two.
