Study at University

Our ATAR program has a long history of helping students make successful transitions to university life. If university is your aim, and you’re serious about putting in the hard yards, then we can help you get there.

Learn English

Our Intensive English Centre (IEC) caters for students aged 16-21 who are new to Australia and want to learn Standard Australian English (SAE). Our IEC programs prepare you for your next destination – be it to mainstream Year 11 and 12, employment, training or university.

To be eligible for enrolment, students must be needing to acquire Standard Australian English and be:

  • in their first year of enrolment in Australia
  • or if from a Humanitarian background, be in their first 2 years of enrolment in an Australia school.

Students who are returning to Australia after time in another country may also be eligible.

Please contact (08) 9314 0444 to make an appointment with our IEC Coordinator. The following information will need to be provided during your appointment:

  • Identification (Passport or Immi Card)
  • Date of arrival in Australia
  • Current address and contact details
  • Visa subclass number
  • Previous school records if available

Non-school ATAR enrolments

Are you seeking entry to university as a mature-aged student (over 20 years old as of 1 March) and need to complete an ATAR unit to help with your application? We offer non-school ATAR enrolments in which you enrol in just that course rather than as a part-time or full-time student. Enrolments as a non-school candidate in the 2026 ATAR course examinations cannot be accepted after Thursday, April 2 2026.
