Thanks for the memories

We said farewell to an outstanding group of students at the Year 12 valedictory held at Mt Pleasant College on Friday 18 October.

Major awards were presented by invited guests Gary Anderson from the WA Department of Education; Russell Aubrey, the mayor of Melville; Kerry Banting representing the Member of Fremantle Josh Wilson; Logan Howlett, the mayor of Cockburn; Leading Seaman Rhys Noblett from the ADF and our own acting principal John Watters.

Brilliant musical items were presented by Jacob Osborne, Nikita Thomson, Hamid Pakresesht and Laura Pinerio Morejon under the guidance of Dean McKenna.

After the event students, staff and guests enjoyed afternoon tea prepared and presented by our Year 11 Hospitality students.

Special thanks to MC Robin Coopes-Williams; Nadia Lekias and Andre Gauci who presented the valedictory folders; Taryn Hammond for her behind the scenes work; Peter Robins from Mt Pleasant College who helped make the show sound and look great and to everyone else who helped make this a memorable event.
