Our Revegetation Day on Wednesday 14 September involved great work from the whole campus community under the guidance of Anna and the Sustainability Leadership Group. Council member Louisa Barnacle and our gardeners John and Moshi are certainly worthy of mention while Kirsten and Julie helped to arrange the donation of plants.
A number of plants including eucalyptus, planting climbers, peppermint trees and Tijuana tipu were planted and soil was enhanced using mulch and crushed limestone.
We are very grateful to SERCUL (South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare) who donated 60 native plants to the school as part of their Phosphorus Awareness Program which allows them to donate native plants to schools in this area.
North Lake Senior Campus has always been known for its great grounds – now they’re looking even better.
