As is the case most years around this time we have some very good news about North Lake students and apprenticeships.
James has completed his time at North Lake after gaining a bricklaying apprenticeship with Blue Print Homes in Balcatta. Our photo shows him at his first day of work. You may recall that James started his own little business at North Lake last year making and selling chopping boards to raise money towards his white card.
Neri (above), who was North Lake’s outstanding Year 12 Industrial Studies student in 2018, has gained a maritime electrical apprenticeship at Austal Ships in Henderson. Prince has gained a heavy duty fabrication apprenticeship with Taylor Engineering in Naval Base.
There will be more good stories to come.
