With the changes in the State’s advice related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Authority has reverted to pre-COVID arrangements for students who are absent from an examination due to illness. Should a student be absent from an examination due to illness, then a Sickness/Misadventure application must be submitted to the Authority with Section D of the application completed by a medical practitioner.
Should a student be unwell with COVID-19 symptoms (such as fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste or sense of smell), they should not attend the examination venue and must submit a Sickness/Misadventure application with Section D of the application completed by a medical practitioner as soon as possible.
