Three North Lake students recently completed their courses and attended the graduation at the South Metro Aerospace Training Centre.
Diether Quintana, Kim Nalus and Welliam Sandika gained the Cert III Aviation (Cabin Crew). This is worth two Year 11 C-grades and four Year 12 Cs. Sarah attended the graduation ceremony and was on hand to congratulate the students. Guests at the graduation boarded a plane under the guidance of the newly qualified students, were served drinks and taken through a safety demonstration.
Another of our students, Denver, has achieved Cert III Aviation (Support Services and Operations). Denver (Australian Super Award for excellence in VET) and Dieter (Principal’s Award) won major awards at North Lake’s valedictory while Kim won the subject award for General Food Science and Technology and was awarded the VET Certificate for Outstanding Application in Hospitality.
