Australia’s Harmony Day was declared in 2003 by the Federal Government as 21 March. It’s a significant date as it’s the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Harmony Day is a highlight of the North Lake Senior Campus calendar, celebrated with a relaxed day of music, costume, dance, food, art, colour and lots of smiles.
Thanks again to Dean, Nadia, and the Student Services and Hospitality teams for organising the day and especially to student performers and helpers Imogen, Kayley, Anastasia, Queenie, Toni, Alan, Abdul, Eve, Woon, Josh, Mahmoud, Auto and Liza.
