An orientation day is meant to make us feel comfortable in a new environment or to bring us back –gently – to school or work.
The Sustainability Mural project was perfect. Students watched a David Attenborough documentary, letting the words wash over them as they coloured using the limited palette of the ocean for a work destined for the library.
Then, in groups, students began adding a mural to a once drab wall in the English area.
