Staff and students are invited to join us for Speed Dating with a Book next Tuesday 27 June at second break in the canteen.
You can join as a presenter of your favourite book or most recent read, or as a participant, hearing about other’s favourite books. Presenters share their love of a book for two minutes while participants listen. After two minutes a bell will ring and participants move to the next presenter.
With your support we are hoping to have 10 presenters, which would provide participants with the opportunity to learn about 10 books in 25 minutes.
Please register your interest as a presenter or participant with Ravi by Tuesday morning so we can plan for numbers. Our librarian, Tine, has kindly offered to create a flyer for your book to hand out if you are presenting, but please contact her by Monday morning to give her time to do this.
