Impressive work in wood

Good things are happening in Damon’s Material Design & Technology (wood) class.

The major project for semester one was to design and build a decorative box with a hinged lid. Students used the router table, compound mitre saw and belt sander in the construction and finished their work off with Danish oil. Boxes such as these are usually used for storing jewellery and trinkets.

“I was really impressed with the results,” Damon told NLSC News and our photos prove his point.
