Making Mondays manageable

• Hivi Amedi from Puck Espresso with Hospitality students James and Gabrielle.

The Hospitality student run coffee shop was a campus highlight during terms two and three.

An important part of their course and training, the coffee shop gave students a real-life look at what it’s like to run a busy cafe. In just over an hour students needed to make coffees and other hot and cold beverages for take-away and dine-in customers. A variety of tasty treats, changing each week, was also served in Scholars Restaurant or delivered throughout the campus.

As an added bonus this year the students had help from professional barista Hivi Amedi from Puck Espresso in Bicton.

Sadly the coffee shop has finished for the year as the students move onto other work but it will be back in 2019.
